We are leaders in open channel flow measurement, using ultrasonic Doppler
technology. Sensor Products was formed as the manufacturing arm of Croma
Developments, a company founded in 1986. Croma was developed as a vehicle
for transferring academic research results into commercial applications.
The company is now concerned with research, development and design of instrumentation
with a heavy emphasis on embedded micro-processors.
Expertise
A key feature of our approach to sensor design is recognizing the need for
built-in sensor integrity monitoring or self-diagnostics. Areas of particular
expertise are:

- novel algorithms

The Mainstream product range is noted for high performance, reliability
and above all else is cost competitive. Mainstream flowmeters feature
a self-monitoring capability which simplifies installation and reduces
maintenance by detecting any variation in performance. Ideal for a wide
variety of water distribution and wastewater applications.

Our goal is to align with the North Yorkshire structure plan for industry
and employment. Mainstream flowmeters are exported worldwide to Europe;
Middle East; Malaysia; Japan; Australia; Africa and North and South America.

Situated in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park we have the
privilege of working in the most tranquil and peaceful surroundings! Post
House is nestled among rolling dales and dry-stone walls, with the River
Wharfe close at hand. In an area of primarily farmland and public houses,
our small but dynamic company, blends in perfectly! Our grounds-ladies,
Thelma and Louise are always on hand to guide you through the gardens
and fields of Post House.
